The bay Cala San Vicente lies in Majorca’s northwest. It is about 7 km away from Pollensa. There are 3 beaches in Cala San Vincente, all with fine white sand and very clear water. From these beaches one has an excellent and unique view of the peninsula Formentor and the mountain Cavall Bernat. The largest beach and therefore the main beach is Cala Barques. From here a small path leads to the smaller beach Cala Clara, which is often very full, because it lies right in front of a large hotel. The third beach, the Cala Molins, is very popular because of its white sand. Astonishingly, the sand is imported and refilled every year to guarantee for the colour. The beaches are family friendly and have a shallow decline into the water. Restaurants are also located at the beach. Pedal boats can be hired in the Cala Barques. Sunshades and sunbeds are also on offer.
