The Cala Murta lies in the north of Majorca on the peninsula Formentor. The popular day trip destination Cap Formentor is only a few kilometres away. Cala Murta is a small remote beach surrounded by imposing rocks. It’s a sand and pebble beach. The beach is about 80 m long and 20 m wide. The water is clear as glass and invites to swim. The beach belongs to no village and there are no sunbeds or sunshades. However, piknik tables are on offer for the guests. The carpark is about 25 walking minutes away. It’s the carpark of Cala Figuera, and then you follow the road until you get to a closely situated house. From there you walk through a small wooden gate and follow the path all the way to Cala Murta.
