In Majorca’s northeast in Soller lies the large marina “Puerto de Soller”. The port offers space for 910 sailing boats and motor jots, divided into the two marinas “Marina Tramuntana” and “Puerto de Soller”. The maximum boat length is 30 m. A boat lift for up to 12 tonnes is on site. Quite a few jot chartering services and a diving school are situated on the marina area. A small part of the port is used as a fishing harbour. The piers are fitted with water-and power connections, and a filling station is situated at the harbour entrance. Many bars, restaurants and souvenir shops are right at the harbour. The small town Soller is known as Majorca’s orange valley. Many excellent restaurants such as the Es Passeig, the Nunu restaurant, the Ses Oliveres, the Sa Taronja and the Nautilus can be found here. The famous orange-and lemon ice cream “Sa Fabrica de Gelats” and the “Café Scholl” with its Vienna-like charm, are unique in Majorca. More than ten cruise ships doc in Soller every year. They anchor in the bay and the passengers are then brought on land via tender boats.
